Description
Tauriel from the Peter Jackson Movies (The Hobbit)
"I do not think you would allow your sond to pledge himself to a lowly Silvan Elf."
This was the first time I used a gel pen and a kneaded eraser and I think both (or at least the eraser) worked fairly well. Plus I gave myself a bit more time. Usually I draw for about 2 or 3 hours, this one took me about 4 1/2 hours to finish. Sadly enough I have to admit I ended up rushing a bit with the dress (but come on, this dress is HORRIBLE to draw!) - it should be alot darker and well.. never mind, it's a weird one. But I am really happy with the face and the nose (and the lips, too) - and the ear worked quite well too Not sure about the eyes, though, I've seen so many pictures where the eyes look "alive" and I just can't get it right.
But I am proud It looks so much smother than e.g. Bard (whom I did two days ago) and yeah.. I think I might get there.. slowly. But progress is progress.
Hope you liked it!

This is a really good one. Clearly you are improving! You did a great job on the parts of the face - I know that it isn't an easy face to draw.
One thing that helps me with the proportions is to look at my drawing in a mirror along with the picture I'm drawing from, and see how they compare. Have you tried doing that?
